The Mini 1101, based on Intel's Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU and 945GSE chipset, comes with 1GB or 2GB of DDR2 memory, up to 250GB of hard drive space or a 32GB solid state drive, and a 3- or 6-cell battery. The netbook with Windows XP Home preinstalled supports up to 1GB of RAM, whereas Windows Vista Business-based systems support up to 2GB.
Its 10.1" LED backlight anti-glare display has a resolution of 1024×576 pixels. HP's Mini 1101 sports a 92% full size keyboard, stereo speakers, a webcam, 802.11b/g WiFi, an LAN port, optional mobile broadband connection, three USB ports, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output.
The Mini 5101 has an anodized aluminum display enclosure, magnesium alloy lower case and a black, brushed finish. Boosted by Intelss Atom processor, the Mini 5101 has 2GB RAM and onboard GMA950 graphics. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with 1024×600 or 1366×768 HD resolution and a 2 Megapixel webcam. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth.
You can get the business netbook with 7200RPM hard drive or 80GB/128GB SSD. Gobi-powered HP Mobile Broadband module is also available as an option. The Mini 5101 comes with a spill-resistant chiclet keyboard. It can be bundled with 4-cell or 6-cell battery offering up to 8 hours of use.
