Hewlett Packard Mini

5101

The Mini 5101 has an anodized aluminum display enclosure, magnesium alloy lower case and a black, brushed finish. Boosted by Intelss Atom processor, the Mini 5101 has 2GB RAM and onboard GMA950 graphics. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with 1024×600 or 1366×768 HD resolution and a 2 Megapixel webcam. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth.

You can get the business netbook with 7200RPM hard drive or 80GB/128GB SSD. Gobi-powered HP Mobile Broadband module is also available as an option. The Mini 5101 comes with a spill-resistant chiclet keyboard. It can be bundled with 4-cell or 6-cell battery offering up to 8 hours of use.

1101

The Mini 1101, based on Intel's Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU and 945GSE chipset, comes with 1GB or 2GB of DDR2 memory, up to 250GB of hard drive space or a 32GB solid state drive, and a 3- or 6-cell battery. The netbook with Windows XP Home preinstalled supports up to 1GB of RAM, whereas Windows Vista Business-based systems support up to 2GB.

Its 10.1" LED backlight anti-glare display has a resolution of 1024×576 pixels. HP's Mini 1101 sports a 92% full size keyboard, stereo speakers, a webcam, 802.11b/g WiFi, an LAN port, optional mobile broadband connection, three USB ports, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output.

Panasonic Toughbook

CF-19

The new CF-19 measures 1.9 inches thick and weighs five pounds and comes with a 10.4-inch XGA touchscreen in both regular or Tablet PC format, a 1.06GHz U2400 Core Duo processor, 80GB HDD, 512MB of RAM (with room for a handy 4GB total), EV-DO or HSDPA WWAN, Bluetooth 2.0, a/b/g WiFi and an optional GPS and fingerprint scanner.

And the Toughbook CF-19 notebook will have an average battery life of seven hours. Use this laptop as a standard laptop with the screen open or rotate the screen and use the laptop like a note pad. Plus you get all the advantages of the shock resistant build, spill proof design and dust proof seals.

CF-52

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-52 incorporate the new Intel Centrino 2 processor technology. In addition, video and graphics capabilities have been significantly enhanced, hard drive capacity has been increased to 160GB, and Wi-Fi performance expanded to include 802.11. It has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics, a DVD writer, Bluetooth, SD card slot and a 15.4-inch LCD display.

It incorporate optional embedded access to mobile broadband networks from major wireless carriers. This drop- and spill-resistant laptop also include magnesium alloy cases, flexible internal connectors, shock-mounted hard drives and LCDs, spill-resistant keyboards, and carrying handles.

CF-74

Panasonic Toughbook CF-74 Semi Rugged Notebook. It features a 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo T2400 processor, 80GB shock-mounted hard drive, Bluetooth connectivity, 1GB of RAM (max 4GB), 13.3-inch daylight viewable touchscreen display, optical drive, SD card slot, and EV-DO support.

It has a biometric fingerprint scanner and Trusted Platform Module (TPM v.1.2) that keeps the laptop secure. Remarkably, the battery lasts up to 8 hours depending on the settings and applications being used. The CF-74 ships with Windows XP Professional.

Acer Aspire One

Acer Aspire One Netbook features all the essentials of a netbook, while also being quite inexpensive. The Intel Atom N270 processor which clocks at 1.60GHz handles internal functionality of this mini notebook. The DDR2 SDRAM of this small laptop has a 1GB capacity. This can be upgraded to 2GB too. The SATA hard drive has a storage space of 160GB. It has a speed of 5400rpm as well.

The operating system that comes pre-loaded in this portable PC is the Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3. The Mobile Intel 945GSE chipset has also been incorporated in this netbook to look after the graphics and memory controlling. This chipset has the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 integrated into it to enhance graphics and display performance.

The CrystalBrite TFT display screen of this netbook measures 10.1 inches diagonally and offers a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. This device supports Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi connectivities too.

Dell Mini 10

The Dell Mini 10 has a wide screen display of 16:9 ratio, available in two resolutions, WSVGA 1024 x 576, and 720p HD 1366 x 768, stretching the full distance of the netbook. Powered by a choice of 1.3 GHz or 1.6GHz Intel Atom silverthorn processors with a further choice of either a 3-cell or 6-cell battery, lasting 3-4 hours, and 6-8 hours respectively.

The Mini 10 also has a very nice, full sized keyboard, also stretching the full distance of the netbook, and a multi-touch touchpad with gesture control. Available with a 120Gb or 160Gb HHD, with 1-2 GB DDR2 RAM, along with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and optional GPS, TV Tuner and DVD slice. Ports include 3x USB 2.0, 5-in-1 card reader, 2x headphone, mic and HDMI output.

Lenovo S10

Lenovo Ideapad S10 runs a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, up to 2GB of memory, the Intel 945 GSE Express chipset, and the GMA 950 graphics. It has standard features including two USB ports, Ethernet, a webcam, headphone jack, and a 4-in-1 card reader.

This also has ExpressCard slot for WWAN expansion on the S10. It runs on Windows XP. There are be in two configurations, both running Windows XP. It will offer both 80GB and 160GB configurations, spinning at 5,400 rpm.
